| On the 1900 Federal Census, Theodore is listed with his wife and daughter and one farm hand, Joseph Clause.34 Along with his sisters, Belle Krumlauf and Mae Geyer, Theodore posted bond on his mother's estate for $4500.00.14 Died at Pine Lodge, North Batavia Avenue, Batavia Illinois at 2 p.m.20 Obituary: "Theodore Levy[sic], a resident of Batavia and vicinity for nearly 70 years died at Pine Lodge, in North Batavia avenue, Thursday, 2 p. m. May 27th, 1926. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Levy[sic] and had spent his entire life in Batavia and vicinity. A short time ago he suffered a stroke of paralysis and was taken tp Pine Lodge where in spite of every care, he steadily failed until death came. The deceased was born in Batavia Township October 2, 1856. A few years ago he suffered an infection in one foot. It was necessary to amputate his leg below the knee and later his other leg was amputated in a similiar place. He has been confined to the whelled chair for the past several months but was able to get about in that way. He leaves a wife, one daughter, Mrs. Earl Clever of Wasco, two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. George Geyer of Batavia, Mrs. Lewis Krumlauf and Charles Levy, both of Aurora and Elmer Levy of Oakland, Cali. The funeral was held from the Burnett and Johnson funeral home at 2:30 Sunday afternoon, Rev. R. M. Furnish of the First M. E. church officiating. The Odd Fellows, of which he was a member, assisted.
