"Saturday evening, March 29th, at 5:30 o'clcok, at the home of the grooms parents, occured the marriage of Miss Grace Portlock to Mr. Mervin Dameron. It was a quiet, yet very pretty wedding. Rev. J. S. Wood of the Methodist Protestant Church officiated.

The happy couple are both well known in this community having been raised in New London. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Verdon Portlock. She is an accomplished young lady of many talents. For the past few months she has been an efficient clerk at the Post Office. The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Dameron. He is a string your man, trustworthy, and reliable. He will continue his work with the Dameron Clothing Company in the capacity of head clerk.

Mr. and Mrs. Dameron will be at home to the many friends after July 1st, 205 South Walnut, New London."
