| Notes for Hester Bridges |
"Miss Hester Bridges, of Madison Township, died at Sioux Falls, South Dakota last Friday morning. The remains were brought back for burial, and the funeral was held at Fairview, at 10 o'clock last Monday. She was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Lawson Bridges, of Madison Township, who are old settlers of that part of the county. Miss Bridges was the sister of Mrs. Oliver Lucus, of this place. At the time of her death at Sioux Falls, she held the position of matron of the school for the deaf and dumb and had previously held similar positions at Salt Lake City, Council Bluffs and Mitchellville."
