| In 1983, this stone was read as William being the son of "W. and E. Otten." By July 2000, the initial of the father had chipped away. However William is buried next to Sarah Portlock (died 1852) and Mary Etta Portlock (died 1857). I believe William is probably the first child of John Otten and Elizabeth (Portlock) (Marlow), who was a daughter of the above Sarah. |
